Elizabeth, Executive Chef and owner of The Classic Gourmet and Mediterranean Villa, can be described in few words: A great passion and love for food and artistic presentation!

Born in Lima, Peru, of Italian ancestry, Elizabeth’s passion for the fine art of cooking was influenced by the elaborate Peruvian and Italian cuisine, soon mastering the arts of many ethnic cooking including the Classic French gastronomy.

Sculpturing, painting and music were her first childhood love that influenced the creativity she now applies in creating cakes and food. At age 22 Elizabeth established a small café which remained open only for a few months. Soon afterwards she was contracted by the café’s neighbor, the Peruvian Telephone company, to assume full responsibility of their cafeteria catering three meals a day to their 2,500 employees. This lasted two years until Elizabeth decided to apply her cooking skills and knowledge in the cosmetics manufacturing industry, where she formulated, designed and manufactured creams, lipsticks, eye shadows, and a complete line of beauty products.

Immigrating to the USA, Elizabeth attended chef school to perfect her skills and soon after graduating founded her own catering company, specializing not only the culinary arts, but also in cakes, pastries, flowers, and decorations for weddings and corporate events which she plans and supervises.

“My clients can trust me”, Elizabeth says, “I create their events according to their expectations. I like to know what they like and expect and together we make the decisions for the entire event. If the event is a wedding, I work as if it was my own daughter or son’s special day”.

The culmination of her dreams is Mediterranean Villa, a reception hall, gardens and chapel influenced by her European trips and heritage. Mediterranean Villa is a place were her clients can have the wedding ceremony, reception, food, cakes, flowers, etc. in an elegant and peaceful atmosphere.
